Hours: Tue and Thu 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM; closed Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun.
Fees: Household trash $2 per 30-gal bag and $4 per 55-gal bag; couch $10; recliner or oversized chair $6; $2 minimum may apply. Paid with prepaid tickets ($10, $20 or $30) sold only at the Town Clerk's Office, not at the site. Electronics, batteries, clean metal and white goods without refrigerants, and yard waste are free.
Who may use it: Town of LeRay residents only; proof of residency may be required.
Accepted: Household trash, small furniture, recyclables (plastics 1 to 7, glass, cans, paper, cardboard), electronics, batteries, white goods without refrigerants, clean metal, yard waste and brush.
Not accepted: Tires, mattresses and box springs, appliances with refrigerant, hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, oil), large commercial or contractor loads. The page says tires, mattresses and hazardous items go to the Jefferson County Transfer Station.
