Hours: May through October, Saturdays only, 8 a.m.–1 p.m. (July 4, Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends listed as exceptions). When closed, use the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority.

Who may use it: Town of Kirkland residents, or construction companies working for them, only. Sign-in required on each trip, limited to five visits per year for wood, trash, construction or roofing materials.
Accepted: Metal and appliances, electronics, hard fill (wood, concrete, bricks, pallets), mixed non-recyclable items, vehicle and lawn-equipment batteries, bulky rigid plastics (free). Bagged material in clear bags; green waste in biodegradable bags.
Not accepted: Paints, chemicals, spray cans, household garbage, and curbside recyclables such as cardboard, plastic containers and glass.
