Hours: Yard: Monday–Saturday 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.–noon. Free compost/mulch: Mon–Sat until 4 p.m., Sunday until 11:30 a.m.
Fees: Free for residents. A fee applies to commercial vehicles; the amount is not stated on the page.
Who may use it: White Plains residents only, ID required. Cars and small non-commercial trucks only; no contractors on Sundays.
Accepted: Paper and cardboard, clean plastics #1–7, glass bottles and jars, metal, small scrap metal, textiles, small electronics (TVs under 55"), grass clippings, small cuttings, leaves.
Not accepted: Plastic bags, Styrofoam, books, deposit bottles, hazardous containers, light bulbs, ceramics, window glass.
