Residential rates: recyclables free; household garbage $2 per 35-gallon bag or $60 per ton (from $7.50 for 0–250 lb); C&D $58 per ton; bulk items $5 each; appliances free (CFC appliances $10); tires up to 20" $5.50 off rim, $10 on rim; green waste free if bagged or a car load; untarped loads $10. Cash, check, MasterCard, Visa or Discover.
Who may use it
Residents of Oneida and Herkimer Counties; rates apply to residents. Businesses and institutions must schedule electronics drop-off by phone.
Accepted
Recyclables, household garbage, bulk items, appliances, C&D, tires, green waste, auto and rechargeable batteries, used motor oil and antifreeze, propane cylinders under 100 lb, electronics, bulky rigid plastics, cooking oil, scrap metal.
Not accepted
Household hazardous waste is accepted only at the Utica EcoDrop; paint is not accepted on site. No complete list of other exclusions on the page.
