Accepted
Upper level: household garbage (kitchen and bathroom waste, bagged Styrofoam peanuts, shredded paper) and flattened corrugated cardboard (cut to about 2 ft by 2 ft). Lower level: metal, plastic (#1 to #7) and glass containers, and paper (magazines, junk mail, newspaper, chipboard, flattened cartons).
Not accepted
Hazardous waste, food-stained cardboard such as pizza boxes, plastic bags in the recycling bins, Styrofoam and ceramic in recycling. Plastic plant pots and ceramic go to Bulky at the Compost Station. Dumping abuse policy: warning, then $100, then use denied.
Note. The page lists this station at 58 Town Road, gated, from Town Road. The page lists 631-788-5515 for the station; the state record has 631-788-7455, which the page gives for the district office. The Compost Station is described on a separate page and is probably a separate location (the other state-record entry, 2660 Whistler Avenue); this page does not confirm that.

From the official page, checked 2026-11-05. Hours and fees change: call before you go.
